SUBJECT: Call for Nominations for 2010-2011 NCD Officers
It is time to consider submitting names for North Carolina Division Officers for 2010-2011. Use of the Letter of Nomination Form (enclosed) makes it unnecessary for the chapter president (or division president in case of member at large candidates) to send a separate letter of submission for the candidate.
If there is someone in your chapter who qualifies and shows true leadership ability, the Committee on Nominations encourages you to submit that member as candidate for a Division office. Please note the postmark deadline for submission of nominations is January 31, 2010. Also, note that the bylaws/procedures for filing are enclosed (see below). Failure to comply with these bylaws/procedures could result in candidate disqualification. A wallet-size black and white photo of the candidate must be included with the Letter of Nomination Form. Candidates whose nomination form, correctly completed and received by the January 31, 2010 deadline, will be introduced at the Evening of Welcome on Friday evening of the 2010 NCD Annual Meeting.
If you have questions, please contact any member of the NCD Committee on Nominations. We look forward to receiving a nomination from your chapter postmarked no later than January 31, 2010. The original copy of the nomination form with a wallet-size black and white photo should be mailed to the Committee Chair and a copy of the form should be mailed to each of the other committee members listed below:
